Cracked Leather

Born of weathered leather, hard miles, and honest work

Site under construction check back on occasion

Still Under ConstructionCracked Leather isn’t a big shop.
It’s just me—Paul—teaching myself how to fix old worn leather
This site’s not done yet, and I haven’t had my first client.
But I’m fixing gear and learning the trade, and getting ready to take on real repairs.
If you’ve got a saddle that’s seen better days—or a bridle that’s holding together with hope and baling twine—reach out. You might be the first to give Cracked Leather a shot.
Better yet stick around and see where we go

Cracked Leather is a way of doing things.
Out here, we don’t toss good gear just because it’s got some miles on it.
We fix it. We ride it. We pass it down.
From saddle repair to secondhand tack,
we bring old leather back to life — one stitch at a time.
Bringing new life to old memories.

Cracked Leather isn’t a business. It’s hobby.I’m Paul. I work full-time and spend the rest of my time working on our small farm, and fixing up saddles in NW Washington.I do it because old leather deserves better than the landfill. A scuffed-up rig still has a story to tell, and I like giving it one more chapter.I’m not a professional saddle maker — just a guy who believes in fixing things instead of throwing them away.If you’re looking for used tack, simple repairs, or just want to follow along as I figure this out one stitch at a time… you’re in the right place.Up around Bellingham WA.
